The Story

Two Sydney-based, Indian-origin Gen Z-ers, Khushee Gupta and Renesh Krishnan, sit down to chat on Don't Talk Back. The conversations turn on growing up Indian in Australia, desi parents and more. The title is a bit of a wink, don't talk back, just listen. It's aimed at younger Indian-Australians who'll see themselves in it, though anyone curious about that upbringing will find a way in.

Since its first episode in June 2024, the pair have published 27 episodes, roughly 11 hours all up, and they hold a weekly rhythm. Most episodes run about 25 minutes, with some as short as 15 and others closer to 40. Recent instalments have pulled guests into the room, among them Ananya Thirumalai, Ruhani Dhillon, Kashif Harrison, Simran Gulati and Kabir Singh. You can listen on Spotify.
